At SheCures, we do not only produce high quality menstrual products. We are committed to keeping girls in school, breaking barriers, and building dignity through education and open conversation. When Menstrual Hygiene Day came on 28 May 2025, we did not simply post a message online and stop there. We went to work. Our team visited Benevolent Islamic Junior School, a school that had chosen to stock SheCures products for its girls. We were invited to engage students in a free menstrual health talk, and we used that opportunity to provide practical knowledge, answer questions, and encourage confidence. Our work did not stop at Benevolent Islamic Junior School. From Kailahun to Kabala and Makeni, we supported access to affordable menstrual hygiene products. We distributed pads to community health units, left supplies with trusted teachers in rural schools, and worked to ensure that girls in some of the hardest to reach places had what they needed.Menstrual Hygiene Day is one day, but periods come every month. Every month, a girl without a pad may face an unfair choice: stay at home or risk humiliation. That is not a real choice, and it is not a choice any girl should have to make. Our work continues beyond a single day. We are improving products, strengthening conversations, and deepening support for the girl child. Periods should never limit potential.Join us in this mission.
