SheCures goes beyond products. Through production, education, employment, school based support, outreach, and digital innovation, we make menstrual health accessible, understood, and supported across the communities we serve in Sierra Leone.
Each program is built to remove a barrier between a girl and her education, her health, and her dignity.
We produce affordable, high quality reusable pads designed for girls and women in rural and underserved communities. Each pad lasts up to 24 months and a pack of four costs approximately US$5.
We distribute health booklets and run safe space sessions in schools so girls receive accurate information, reduce stigma, and stay in class.
We recruit and train women and young people to cut, sew, and package reusable pads, creating practical skills and income within Sierra Leonean communities.
We install pad banks in partner schools so that no girl has to leave class because of her period. Each bank is stocked with pads, panties, and soap in a private, supervised space.
We travel to rural communities where roads are difficult and shops are far away, bringing pads and health knowledge directly to the girls and women who need them most.
Through our website and AI-powered chat, we create a private digital space where girls can ask questions about menstrual health without fear, any time of day or night.
We work alongside schools, community groups, and organisations that share our commitment to menstrual health equity. Get in touch to explore how we can work together.
